More football, kasekrainer and Couchsurfing (sort of)

7th April, 9.30am Julez' Guestroom

Well, my first night in Vienna turned out to be much better than I anticipated. I'm staying in a large house in West Vienna. I have my own room with a bed and fresh bedding an everything! I'm being hosted by a girl called Julez, who is a bit of an Anglophile. We were also joined buy her brother Flo. I was given a guided walk around the centre of Vienna and then we decided to go to a bar to watch the Man United game. I had written off seeing the football whilst staying in someone else's company so I was really happy when they suggested it!

We ended up having a few beers and had lots to talk about. On the way home we had kasekrainer, which is a sausage filled with cheese. It was the perfect post-pub food. We were in a bit of a rush to get the last U-Bahn and then last bus home but it worked out fine. The last bus actually waits at the train station for the train to arrive and for people to get on the bus before the bus sets off. It's such a simple idea but things like that just don't happen in the UK. A bit of collaboration always helps.
